Patient Blames Nurses for 'Undue Pain,' Sues for Up to $250,000

     SANTA ROSA, Calif. (CN) - Kaiser patient Kay Rah was injured and endured undue pain and suffering at a Cupertino Kaiser facility, according to a complaint filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
     Rha blames Kaiser for failing to use reasonable care in hiring, supervising, and monitoring its nursing staff, and says that a better result would have been obtained without Kaiser's negligence. Kaiser's poor monitoring, examination, diagnosis are to blame for Rha's injury and undue pain, she says in her complaint.
     Rha sues for malpractice, in pro per, and seeks up to $250,000 for medical expenses, loss wages, expected future medical expenses, emotional distress, pain, and suffering.
