MODESTO, Calif. (CN) - An elevator closed on a woman’s arm, she claims in a premises liability and personal injury lawsuit in Stanislaus County Superior Court.

     Mary Silva sued Kaiser Permanente seeking general and compensatory damages and hospital and medical expenses.

     Silva claims the elevator left her with lacerations when it closed on her arm.

     She is represented by Richard L. Sheppard, III, of Modesto.
