SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CN) – Because two Kaiser doctors botched a patient's orthopedic surgery, she will need a second surgery, she claims in a complaint filed in Sacramento County Superior Court.
After Shirley Kay Lee had surgery on her left tibia, she “was in continuing pain,” and then seven months later, she learned that the surgery “was done improperly by defendants David J. Manske, M.D. and Raj S. Kullar, M.D. at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento,” and Ms. Lee needed a second operation to correct their mistakes, the complaint states.
Lee seeks lost earnings, medical expenses, costs of suit and incidental expenses. She is represented by E.S. Deacon of Wilcoxen Callaham in Sacramento.
